Collaboration Meeting between UMK &
Microsoft (M) Sdn. Bhd. for Microsoft Learn
For Educator Implementation Plan
On September 22nd, 2020, AIBIG has had a visiting meeting on the proposed implementation of Microsoft Learn for Educator for UMK. Microsoft Learn for Educators is one of Microsoft's initiative to provide educational institutions with comprehensive resources to enable innovative education amongts students. This initiative has given UMK an authorize in accessing the curriculum, training materials, and classroom integration support developed by Microsoft.
This provides an opportunity for UMK students to obtain professional certificates which will soon be recognized by the other industries.
Other than that, some modules are available at Microsoft Learn, which are Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, and Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals.
During this visiting meeting, Microsoft together with UMK has also discussed about the implementation of Microsoft Train-of-Trainer for several professional certifications to enable UMK lecturers to teach the contents of the modules mentioned above to UMK students and also the industries.
