Honorary and visiting meeting by CISCO Systems Malaysia to Universiti Malaysia Kelantan

Honorary visit and meeting from Cisco Systems Malaysia chaired by YBhg. Professor Ts. Dr. Arham bin Abdullah, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) on November 25, 2019. The honorary visit and meeting also involved YBhg. Professor Dr. Mohd Saberi Mohamad, , Director of Institute For Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AIBIG) and YBrs. Mr. Wan Azlee Bin Hj. Wan Abdullah, Director of Centre for Computing and Informatics (CCI).

In fact, the meeting was related to the Internet of Things (IoT) course which will be offered soon in Bachelor of Information Technology Progam - Track in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. This course eventually will also be offered to students whom are outside of Information Technology field.

The implementation of this IoT course was done through the establishment of the IR 4.0 Competence Center Laboratory which aimed to provide training to both staff and students of UMK. Other than that, this IoT course will also be provided to schools and society.
